Case:
What a nice late Italian renaissance style grandfather clock made of solid American Toulipier wood and Tanganika burl plated over fine mdf. Really accurate water based medium Walnut finish all over the interior and the exterior once. Mr. Stefano did a great finishing half shiny along the case in order to leave a little more patina on the corners in the between the many wood parts. Unique door with lock and with bevelled glass hand made all around 5mm thick by Mr. Giovanni Casella. Clock case has the 4 bottom feet, the carved decoration along the straight parts and the 4 columnar caps hand carved by Mr. Franco. The central bottom mask and the 2 side statues are made of wood pressed and just refinished by hand because they are just decoration applied for matching the clock style but we may also offer this clock free of them, so it's very plain and soft for the people that do not want figures in home.
Movement:
Original German mechanical movement from the company Kieninger, they do clock movements in the Black Forest since 1912 made of solid high thick brass. It plays the Westminster chime quarterly and the strokes hourly on bells. Accessories also include: big face and the genuine brass big lire pendulum and weights all them German made by the Jaeckle company since 1888. Clock movement features: self oiling, self centring, self regulating and you may rotate minute hand counterclockwise trouble free. Moreover clock may not chime night time from 10pm untill 7.15am automatically. Clock winding weekly (about 10 days totally) by pulling down the free part of each chain and so making the weight moving up. It goes down 12cm per day making the clock running and chiming.
Warranty:
We grant 2 years totally worldwide. It has the operating and starting booklet in 16 different languages included. We also will include usb pen drive showing start up videos in English language too. Clock wood has been selected in 5 years so it's dry and safe itself. About the movement package it includes the dial hands once. So simply open the top door, it comes off to the front simply by unscrewing the 2 gray screws and if you send or bring back the old one we give you a new clock movement package for free during the first 2 years and later at sole its cost. Anycase you do not need to repair or to ask people to come to your house. Simply self made replacement and per post sending back the old one to us.
