Case:
Ohh really many pieces of wood hand carved by Mr. Franco on solid French Lime wood applied to a solid case made of solid American Toulipier wood and some Tanganika burl plated over back side mdf. Some thin details on the doors have been carved by Mrs. Angelica over solid Italian Walnut wood. Finely hand carved very deeply detailled side statues that have been first machine grosscarved by Mr. Carlo. We join all together each piece during assembling after the polishing, testrunning period is about 15 days for setting all the movement accessories. Side and front oval all around bevelled glass 5mm thick manually by Mr. Giovanni. Back side is also full of hand made carvings applied because originally this model had no doors but we had to improve it and put the lock to the bottom door too. Really accurate water based light ivory lacquer hand made by our Mr. Stefano and before the mat transparent final protection clock case has been fully “aquerello” hand painted by the artist Mrs. Lara as per a Giotto's picture. A lot of labour for getting ready the many parts componing the clock case. No high tech machinery but simply the very different skills of many our workers and friends put together once. Top door has the metric hinges in order to being secure lifetime and the full top part of the clock after unscrewing from the back side it may slide to the front as per a big drawer.
Movement:
Original German mechanical movement from the company Kieninger, they do clock movements in the Black Forest since 1912 made of solid high thick brass large sized and shiny polished brass plates. It may play one of 3 different chimes on 8 notes: Westminster chime, Whittington chime and S. Michel chime quarterly. Then it plays the strokes hourly. Weekly wind by rotating the cranc key inside the 3 front holes at the dial, so no chains in front of the pendulum. It also automatically may swap chime itself hourly. It has the monochrome black color dial showing the major German monuments. It has the lire decortated pendulum and the decorated big size weights too all them German made by the Jaeckle company since 1888. Clock movement features: self oiling, self centring, self regulating and you may rotate minute hand counterclockwise trouble free. Moreover clock may not chime night time from 10pm untill 7.15am automatically. Finally the clock movement very specially has the 4 hand painted dancers at dial top that each rotates itself and goes inside out quartely while clock is chiming, as per the church in Mary plaza in Muechen, Germany. Big size applied numerals at the dial.
Warranty:
We grant 2 years totally worldwide. It has the operating and starting booklet in 16 different languages included. We also will include usb pen drive showing start up videos in English language too. Clock wood has been selected in 6 years so it's dry and safe itself. About the movement package it includes the dial hands once. So simply open the top door, it comes off to the front simply by unscrewing the 2 gray screws and if you send or bring back the old one we give you a new clock movement package for free during the first 2 years and later at sole its cost. Anycase you do not need to repair or to ask people to come to your house. Simply self made replacement and per post sending back the old one to us. The clock top part may be unscrewed from the back side and then it slides out to the front as per a big drawer in order to have the movement to stand out fully easily.
